The Girard Foundation believes that focusing our grant-making efforts on a few specific areas of education will allow us to be more strategic and effective in our investments. The following are our current priorities: 

• Digital learning -- Changing the teaching/learning paradigm by creating new educational models that "blend" digital learning experiences with face-to-face instruction
• Charter schools -- Expanding the educational options available to students and encouraging innovation 
• College and career preparedness -- Supporting programs that specifically prepare students for post-secondary success
• Educational leadership -- Equipping education leaders at all levels to be catalysts for change
